Running a full-crew action used to take multiple clicks and screens — open the menu, hand-pick each worker and hope nobody errors out at the end. Now it takes one tap.
Shortcuts is a new screen in the Workyard mobile app built for foremen and supervisors. Clock the whole crew in, send everyone to break, change project time or cost codes— one tap, done.
What makes it different:
  • It checks before offering an action:
Workyard suggests who's on site, who's on approved PTO, and what job and cost code the geofence says you're on. What you tap goes through — no picking workers one by one, no generic error because someone wasn't on the clock.
  • It learns how you run your day:
Your most-repeated actions get pinned. Suggested actions show up based on your crew's state and time of day.
  • Build your own:
Save the crew actions you run every day as custom one-tap Shortcuts. Supers who don't clock in can log a full day for themselves and the crew in one pass.
Update to the latest version (26.7.31) of the Workyard mobile app to get Shortcuts today.
